Course description

In this session, participants will be given a review of the impact of dementia on the person, their families and carers. The focus will be on care partnerships allowing participants to understand the value of family and carer contributions to the shared responsibilities of care.

Participants will learn how to identify strategies for improving interaction between services and families/carers in order to be more responsive to their needs.
