This workshop provides participants with an insight and understanding to improve the quality of life of patients and their families facing terminal illness. This workshop explores physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs.

Attendees will:
learn an overview of dementia
gain and understanding on what palliative care is
learn about dementia and palliative care
learn about the approach to death
gain an understanding about dementia in hospital/acute care
