DPI Series

Home / DPI Series

The Dementia Practice Improvement (DPI) Series has been specially developed to allow health care professionals to develop their own practice improvement plan for future implementation in the workplace.

The series covers a range of topics that will encourage your staff to reflect on their own practice, and will help to improve their dementia knowledge and practice.

The series covers four main topics, and is broken up across 14 short modules:

What is dementia?

3 modules

Communicating in a person-centred way

3 modules

How person-centred is your practice?

5 modules

A problem solving approach to behaviours

3 modules

Time

4 hours in total, which your staff can complete at their own pace.

Cost

Organisations that purchase a minimum of 50 licences can take advantage of a discounted price of just $40 per person (usually $45 per person). That’s four hours of training for $40 per person. Further discounts available for 100 licences plus.

Certificate

Learners will receive a certificate of completion once they have completed all modules in the series.

Reporting

Quick & easy setup

All we need to set up and enrol your learners into the DPI series is their full name and email address.

6-month access

The series is hosted on Dementia Australia’s Learning Management System (LMS) which includes a growing range of online learning. Your learners will have access to the system and all free online resources added for 6 months.
