ONLINEDue to COVID-19 restrictions, we have all had to adapt and change in the way we go about our daily lives. Adapting to change can be difficult for a person living with dementia, particularly if it impacts on their usual routine and their ability to connect with others. As a result, some people living with dementia may feel isolated, disconnected, and increasingly stressed and may express this through changes in their behaviour.
This virtual class will examine behaviour changes of people living with dementia in response to COVID-19 restrictions. Your team will learn how to apply a systematic approach to problem solving changed behaviour and work through positive support strategies for people living with dementia during the COVID-19 pandemic.
ONLINEThe COVID-19 restrictions have greatly impacted on our opportunity to connect and engage with others in everyday life and meaningful activities.
This practical, virtual class will explore creative solutions and ideas to assist your team to engage and connect with people living with dementia in a meaningful way, whilst adhering to social distancing and other COVID-19 restrictions. It will also explore ways to reduce isolation during this time.
